Day One

Mike drove 850 miles yesterday and we slept very well in Easton Pennsylvania.
I'm in Pennsylvania!!
Well, actually I'm in New Jersey right now. New Jersey!! How cool! Never been this far up the Eastern seaboard!! I can't wait to do this again and have the time to stop and really look.
Today we're gonna see/visit the Statue of Liberty and hopefully the Empire State building. I an not going to attach myself to any other destinations or outcomes, though. Just gonna let this adventure unfold exactly as it was meant to!
Maybe Coney Island? Broadway? Fifth Ave? Central Park? Greenwich village? Who knows... And the plotting of map points and staring at maps of the city means I miss out on NOW... So just Being There is enough!!
Now we're on I-78 headed East through New Jersey. Forecast high for the city today is 68°! The sun just melted off the morning haze and it's partly cloudy!
